Educating Christians about their Biblical responsibility to stand with their Jewish brethren and Israel
(Columbus, Ohio) --November 7, 2017-- The Ohio General Assembly has taken its first step in approving House Concurrent Resolution 10 (HCR 10), a resolution “To condemn the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement and increasing incidents of anti-Semitism.” HCR 10 will begin to counter the increasing acts of anti-Semitism, including anti-Israel activity, and the shutting down of free speech, on our university campuses in Ohio. Today the Ohio House of Representatives Government Accountability and Oversight Committee voted to approve HCR 10. It will now go to the full House of Representatives for approval, and then will be sent to the Ohio Senate for its concurrence.
Michael Goldstein, State of Ohio Director of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, writes,
At Proclaiming Justice to the Nations we congratulate Committee Chair Blessing, Vice-Chair Reineke, Ranking Member Clyde, and the members of the House Government Accountability and Oversight Committee on taking this strong action in approving HCR 10. We particularly want to thank the co-sponsors of the Resolution, Representatives Andy Thompson (Marietta) and Dave Greenspan (Westlake) for their insight, dedication, and hard work in initiating HCR 10 and moving it forward. Anti-Semitism on our campuses is not just a Jewish problem; it is a Christian problem, as well. First and foremost, it is an American problem, first because beginning with President George Washington, America has always welcomed Jews as full citizens with full civil rights. More importantly, shutting down the free speech rights of any Americans by intimidation and threats of violence, as the BDS movement has done on a nationwide basis to Jewish groups and individuals on campus, is abhorrent to Americans, and is not protected by the freedom of speech provision of the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. As noted national liberal voice attorney Alan Dershowitz has said, “The Constitution does not protect speech that incites violence.” We are pleased that HCR 10 contains a very strong provision on freedom of speech on campus for all.
In meetings today in New York, PJTN Founder and President. Laurie Cardoza-Moore added: “I am very encouraged by the strong movement in Ohio in approving HCR 10 and the impact PJTN has been able to make on this success of this endeavor. I join Mike Goldstein in extending appreciation to Representatives Andy Thompson and Dave Greenspan in moving this important agenda forward so successfully.
Together with our like-minded colleagues at the Ohio Christian Alliance, Christians United for Israel, and Agudath Israel of America, we at Proclaiming Justice to the Nations look forward to quick passage of HCR 10 by the full Ohio House and by the Senate.”

A new Shia Muslim mega mosque and Islamic center – measuring over 3,500 square meters and with room for 3,000 people -- has opened in Golders Green, one of only two largely Jewish areas in London. The Shia Muslim religious center, Hussainiyat Al-Rasool Al-Adham, owns the mosque.
The mosque is situated in the Hippodrome, a prominent building centrally located in North London. The Hippodrome was built in 1913 as a 3,000-seat music hall and for more than 30 years housed the BBC Concert Orchestra. Two episodes of the first series of Monty Python's Flying Circus were recorded there in 1969. After the BBC left the building in 2005, a Jewish group wanted to convert the building into a place of worship but was rejected, because the planning applications stipulated that the building should be used for entertainment. In March 2007, it was purchased by an evangelical Christian center. After the church center closed, the Hussainiyat Al-Rasool Al-Adham center acquired it.

Britain continues to expose its citizens to danger and jihad attacks. The UK is currently facing the most severe terror threat ever.
If Britain is hoping to enter these Islamic State jihadists into deradicalization programs, they don’t work. Professor Boaz Ganor, from the International Policy Institute for Counter Terrorism once stated that deradicalization is “practically impossible”; the London Tube jihad bomber had attended a deradicalization program; and France’s only jihadi deradicalization center was closed because it was based on voluntary participation as it should be, and it was empty.
As a Councillor involved in planning, a number of people in our community have asked me what action they should take to oppose the application for an Islamic Centre on the Hippodrome site, Golders Green.
Since Golders Green is not the area of Barnet I represent, I am at liberty to respond more freely than would otherwise be the case.
My advice has been as follows. You cannot object purely because you do not like the idea of an Islamic Centre or mosque, and I hope that is not how you feel.
A Labour MP who was forced to resign from Parliament’s Women and Equalities Select Committee over misogynistic and homophobic comments appears to have only ever tabled three questions since he was elected to the Commons in June – and all were on Israel.
Jared O’Mara – who was elected as MP for Sheffield Hallam at the general election after defeating former Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg - has submitted three questions, on the UK’s arms trade to Israel, the government’s policy on the Palestinians’ right of return, and a further question about the Balfour Centenary commemorations.
Police in southern Virginia have arrested two brothers after video emerged of them barking anti-Semitic remarks at a man outside their father’s taco shop.
Joseph Killian, 33, and Henry Killian II, 35, were arrested and charged in connection with an incident in front of Hey Joe’s restaurant in Damascus, Virginia, a town of hardly 800 people roughly 30 miles northeast of Bristol, Tennessee, The Bristol Herald Courier reported Wednesday.
I was recently invited to present the liberal case for Israel at UC Berkeley. In my remarks, I advocated the establishment of a Palestinian state and a negotiated end of the conflict. I encouraged hostile questions from protesters and answered all of them. The audience responded positively to the dialogue.
Then immediately after my address, a poster was plastered outside the UC Berkeley School of Law with a swastika drawn on my face. The dean of UC Berkeley School of Law, Erwin Chemerinsky, sent a letter condemning the swastika.
