You Cannot Firebomb Biblical Truth About Israel Into Silence

Once again this week, I find I am focused on the attempts to silence the voices that arise in support of Israel!

Most of you have by now heard the devastating news that the Jerusalem television studio of the Daystar network was destroyed this week by an arsonist.  Daystar is, of course, a broadcast partner with PJTN in bringing our award-winning Focus On Israel programs and our documentary films around the globe.  The Daystar Network has been a tireless champion for Israel in bringing an array of programming, like Focus On Israel to foster Christian support, education and biblical truth about Israel and the Jewish people consistently to viewers around the world.  The studio now in ashes overlooked the Mount of Olives and Mount Zion and was established over a decade ago as the base of the first Christian television network in Israel.

Millions of dollars of production equipment, cameras and sets—gone in flames—and with it, no doubt the perpetrator’s hope, the network’s messaging and on-the-ground presence in Israel— would also be gone.

Today, I echo the proclamation of Daystar founder Marcus Lamb in declaring.

“Our voice will not be silenced!”

Clear Channel Denies Billboard In Times Square

“… A new generation arose after them that did not know the LORD, nor the deeds that He had performed for Israel.” Judges 2:10

I am growing increasingly alarmed about America, our freedoms of expression as Jews, Christians and all people of conscience, and the threat to the well-being and safety of those with Judeo/Christian values and viewpoints in America at large.

Last week, I mentioned that I would be in New York at Times Square this week for a major rally demanding the removal of Ilhan Omar from Congress.  Unfortunately, due to security issues and last minute complications, I was unable to attend.  Even more regretful: Attempts were made to shut down the event by both Clear Channel, who owns the Times Square signage and Facebook who hosted a donors page.  The organizations who were staging the rally were denied use of the billboard at the 11th hour.  The Facebook page was pulled for vague reasons not fully understood, especially since the page was setup according to their standards.

CLEAR CHANNEL REFUSES TO ALLOW TIMES SQUARE BILLBOARD DEMANDING REMOVAL OF OMAR FROM CONGRESS

CLEAR CHANNEL REFUSES TO ALLOW TIMES SQUARE BILLBOARD DEMANDING REMOVAL OF OMAR FROM CONGRESS

AMERICAN VOICES ARE SILENCED IN CONDEMNING AN ANTISEMITIC CONGRESSWOMAN

(NEW YORK, NEW YORK) –May 20, 2019 –Today’s scheduled multi-organizational rally in New York’s Time Square to demand the removal of Ilhan Omar from Congress was denied the display of a commercial billboard.

The Omar Times Square billboard demanding her removal due to her anti-Semitic comments and ties to Islamic terror front groups like the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and Islamic Relief USA was denied ad space at the eleventh hour by Clear Channel.

This denial of advertising space comes on the heels of national headlines made by Clear Channel for their refusal earlier this month to display a billboard by Focus On The Family, an evangelical Christian ministry. The planned 4-D ultra-sound image of an unborn baby, in support of their pro-life  “Alive From New York,” was denied for the event staged on May 4.

EVANGELICAL LEADER CALLS FOR WAR ON ANTI-SEMITISM AMONG CHRISTIANS

PRESS RELEASE

EVANGELICAL LEADER CALLS FOR WAR ON ANTI-SEMITISM AMONG CHRISTIANS

CHRISTIAN NATIONALISM IS MAKING A COMEBACK AND CHRISTIAN LEADERS MUST PUBLICLY CONDEMN IT

(NASHVILLE, TN) –May 15, 2019—A major Evangelical voice of leadership in America’s war on anti-Semitism today released a statement challenging other Christian leaders to join her in exposing the growing threat of anti-Semitism among American Christians.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore, founder and president of Proclaiming Justice to The Nations (PJTN) noted today, “A frightening reality is emerging in American Christianity and is being underscored by the perpetrators of violence and hatred against Jews that have resulted in national headlines such as the Tree of Life Synagogue massacre in Pittsburgh and the Chabad tragedy in Poway, California last month. Just last week, in Russellville, Arkansas, a peaceful Holocaust memorial event made national headlines when protesters bearing crosses, a large sign with an image of the face of Jesus and a huge placard reading ‘God has the oven pre-heated,’ disrupted it. This trend resembles a frightening resurgence of the vile anti-Semitism perpetrated by Christians against Jews throughout history.  From the pogroms of Europe, to the Inquisition in Spain and the Christian Nationalists born out of Nazi Germany, this trend is dangerously becoming too frequent in America under the guise of the heretical teaching of Replacement Theology. It is time for Christian leadership to condemn this ancient hatred we see arising in our generation.”

Is Christian Replacement Theology Biblical?

spoke yesterday at a Christian women’s meeting in California and shared how we at PJTN are bracing for persecution in “speaking out” against anti-Semitism in the days ahead.  A frightening reality is emerging in American Christianity and is being underscored by the perpetrators of violence and hatred against Jews that have resulted in national headlines such as the Tree of Life Synagogue massacre in Pittsburgh last November and the Chabad tragedy in Poway, California last month.  Just last week in Russellville, Arkansas a peaceful Holocaust memorial event made national headlines when it was disrupted by protesters bearing Christian flags, a large sign with an image of the face of Jesus, and a huge placard reading ‘God has the oven pre-heated.’  Scenes reserved for historical research into Nazi Germany of the past are now becoming the too frequent norm in America, and Christian leadership must speak up against this new vile pattern of hatred we see growing around us.  In both Pittsburgh and California, violence was initiated by young men professing to be Christian but were intent on killing in their words, “as many Jews as possible.”  In the case of the Poway shooter, he had noted in a social media manifesto: “I am a Christian and I blame all Jews for the murder of Jesus.”

PJTN LEADER CALLS FOR REMOVAL OF TENNESSEE JUDGE OVER ANTI-SEMITIC POSTS

PRESS RELEASE

PJTN LEADER CALLS FOR REMOVAL OF TENNESSEE JUDGE OVER ANTI-SEMITIC POSTS

(NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE) –May 10, 2019 –PJTN Founder and President Laurie Cardoza-Moore has filed a formal letter to the Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct demanding the removal of Shelby County Criminal Court Judge James Lammey, in light of recent public revelations of inflammatory anti-Semitic content posts on his personal Facebook. Particularly under scrutiny was a link shared by the Memphis based judge to an incendiary anti-Semitic article authored by radical Holocaust denier David Cole.

Noted Cardoza-Moore: “As the founder of a Tennessee based Christian organization leading a national campaign against anti-Semitism, I find it egregious that a sitting criminal court judge would commit such a breach of conduct, and this at a time when America is facing the recent horror of 12 Jewish lives being lost to terrorism within the perceived safety of their own synagogues.  That we have such anti-Semitic hatred in mis-guided radical minds intent on the process of killing Jews is something America must not tolerate. To have a judge committed to the process of justice and the punishment of criminal acts at the same time entertaining and sharing radical anti-Semitic content in the public forum of his own sphere of influence in social media demands his immediate removal.”

As Israel Celebrates 71 Years . . .

PJTN this week has joined the chorus of supportive voices around the world in wishing Israel God’s blessing on the celebration of its 71st Independence Day marked from the miracle of its re-emergence as a nation in 1948.  It has been a hard fought miracle watered by many tears.  On Tuesday of this week, the citizens of Israel and Jews of the Diaspora alike observed Memorial Day, as a day to remember the price that has been paid.  A siren was heard around the nation to remember the 23,741 fallen soldiers; the 3,460 Jewish lives lost to terrorism—and this year tragically—the twelve Jewish lives lost here in America in murderous anti-Semitic attacks in both the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, PA and the Chabad in Poway, CA.

As Memorial Day in Jerusalem dawnedI was in Washington for a rally on Capitol Hill to voice our stand against anti-Semitism in our generation.

I stopped to remember and to pledge that PJTN must—and will—do more.

Ilhan Omar -- Hamas Loyalist?

Peace comes at a great price.  Please join PJTN today in praying for Israel.

Once again in the world, as through the centuries, the Jewish people find themselves with no “safe haven” from the rage of anti-Semitism.

In America, gunshots threaten our Jewish brethren in synagogues as they gather to pray.  In Israel, a barrage of over 700 rockets rained down this weekend from Gaza, destroying lives, homes and any hope of lasting peace.

Many friends across America—both Christians and Jews, have been in touch with me over the past few days to express their concerns and fears over what we see unfolding.  I could only re-assure them that PJTN stands as an anchor in this unrelenting storm.
