PJTN: TAKING BACK AMERICA’S CHILDREN!
AN OPEN LETTER FROM PJTN FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT LAURIE CARDOZA-MOORE:
DATA MINING TENNESSEE CHILDREN IN THE SHADOW OF COVID: “NOT ON OUR WATCH GOVERNOR LEE!”
I have this week come out strongly in national media against the implications of the broad overreach of the attempted “data mining” campaign that was planned for implementation on Tennessee students in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.
The Tennessee Department of Education’s abrupt halt on the controversial “Child Well Being Check” is a credit to the power of “awake citizens” such as those we are educating, motivating and activating at PJTN. The nondisclosure agreement parents were being asked to sign raised numerous questions about the motivations and risks to the Constitutional rights of privacy of Tennesseans. We must speak out at every turn in today’s power grab climate in government.
PJTN was, of course, birthed in Tennessee and our main office is located here. Our initial launch from my kitchen table in the early 2000’s was fueled by my commitment in speaking out loudly over my outrage of what I saw happening to our children in America’s educational system—what our children were being taught, and not taught in their classrooms. The anti-American, anti-Judeo-Christian, anti-Semitic content being peddled in our children’s textbooks by the nefarious global interests of Pearson Publishers was a battle that led PJTN to the national spotlight of Fox News, mainstream media and beyond. Fast forward to 2020 and the battle that surrounds PJTN on every side rages white hot.
As a result of the outcry of informed Tennesseans, such as those PJTN is grooming, the Tennessee Department of Education, under the leadership of Governor Bill Lee, pulled the plug on their controversial Child Well-being Check Toolkit under pressure from parents and citizens across the state. The program was designed to conduct well-being checks on all children in Tennessee, birth to 18 years of age.
What we were seeing in launch phase, simply put, was “Machiavellianism” on full display-- an attempt to use cunning duplicity to capitalize on a crisis to concentrate control—or in the modern terms of our times “to never let a good crisis go to waste!” H.I Mencken defined it best: “The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule.”
Next to Common Core and its data-mining efforts, this is the most recent example of Tennessee Department of Education’s attempts to take advantage of the COVID crisis. This expansion of government overreach into our children’s lives was conducted under the watchful eye of Republican Governor, Bill Lee.
Parents were told that the initiative recommended “Well-being” checks for ALL children in the area of nutrition, health, and abuse reporting services. While it sounded noble on its face, who is it that decides which of the three issues, or all of them, is the child suitable for? The program hiring 20 year-old “well-being liaisons” to assess the needs. Really? A 20 year-old? What are the credentials and experience of someone at that stage in their life to make an informed assessment that impacts the well-being of our children?
Additionally, we the people of Tennessee were ill-informed on overall process and goals by developers of the “Wellbeing Toolkit” and the 38 members and agencies on the panel. Just who are the collaborating organizations/individuals? What are their credentials? I posed the question: “ Is this another one of Bill Gates secretive education initiatives like Common Core, a data-mining initiative that successfully dumbed down our children?”
Since the Gates Foundation has been “Re-Imagining Education” in America, billions of dollars have been invested and trillions of taxpayer dollars—yours and mine—have been spent to satisfy Gates unquenchable thirst for data collection. The defining model of Gates obsession to redefine education is of course Common Core –Gates mining field of choice for data collection on Americans—birth to grave.
The potential repercussions of the ambiguity surrounding the Tennessee initiative? . According to the guidelines, the well-being check could consist of an email, phone call, or home visit, with the parent’s approval of course. With the data-mining aspect of the program, what if parents refuse? They’re refusal will be documented! What are the questions? Do parents have the option to review the questions before signing the “Virtual agreement”? How will the information be aggregated? Too many questions have gone unanswered.
The castle walls were breached when one Rutherford County School parent leaked the secret “Agreement for Virtual Classes & Groups Privacy Release” that they were supposed to sign in order to enroll their child in the distance learning, “virtual classroom”.
What was ludicrous about this “privacy” release, is that it went to great lengths to emphasize “student privacy” as it pertains to “non-student” participants in the room during the virtual classroom session. The Rutherford County Schools release strongly discourages non-student observation of online meetings due to the potential of confidential information about a student being revealed. Someone remind me – this is a “public” school, right?”
By signing this statement, the parent agrees that they will refrain from observing, and prevent other “non-students” from observing their child’s virtual meeting. The parent is also encouraged to “blow the whistle” on anyone they suspect is observing the virtual classroom. And finally, the parent is warned to obey all state and federal copyright laws by not recording lessons or sessions or taking screenshots or posting photos and videos on social media and other public places. Is this a Tennessee school district, or Communist China?
And if that wasn’t enough, House Republican Caucus Chairman Rep. Jeremy Faison tweeted out a statement about the release citing that the DOE, “is correcting the mistake”. Which mistake? This was not a mistake. This is clearly government overreach into our families and our lives and is a blatant violation of our Constitutional rights.
This slow-creep data-mining scheme and intrusion into our families through our children, birth through 18 years of age is completely unacceptable. My message to the Governor: “Governor Lee, not on our watch! If you’re concerned with the well-being of our children – open the schools. The $1 million dollars from the federal government would be better spent on safely getting the children back in school.”
Please contact me at info@pjtn.org if you are seeing programs such as the “Child Well Being Check” being initiated in your state! This is an initiative that must be fought on a state-by-state basis for the protection of our children.
Thank you for all you do to make the work of PJTN possible! As never before, war rages over the future of America and our next generation of leadership. PJTN is taking on the battle with our “Taking Back America’s Children” campaign. We are calling for a global reset on education. Our voices must be heard in the upcoming November election—the most important election of our life-time. God and the American values of our Founders must be central if America is to remain strong and free.
We can only do what we do with your support! As we undertake filming of commercial spots this week, please consider your best donation to support with campaign. Media time is expensive—as is production, so your gift is crucial…
Thank you for your support and for your commitment to stand with PJTN!
