PJTN Saw A Stunning Victory In Texas Last Week

PJTN saw a stunning victory last week with the decision by the Texas State Board of Education relating to our core mission on textbooks!

The Board made a decision to amend the state’s history, geography and social studies standards to reinsert the teaching of “Judeo-Christian values as fundamental to America’s founding.”

It was an added affirmation to PJTN as a Pro-Israel advocacy organization that the Texas Board voted to put the defense of Israel back in perspective for their students by voting for the inclusion of social studies requirements that correctly define that “Arab rejection of the State of Israel has been at the root of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East."

Additionally they went on to address the importance of the influence of Moses in the writing of the nation’s founding documents. This is HUGE on the side of protecting Judeo-Christian values in Texas education. These rulings will profoundly impact the education of the 5.4 million school children of Texas, as well as millions of students throughout the U.S. as Texas is one of the largest textbook purchasers.

I am encouraged!  PJTN, as you know, mobilized parents and taxpaying citizens to testify during the hearing and to see this victory.  We are continuing next in Florida and Ohio with the plan for outcomes similar to Texas.  You, as a PJTN supporter, are part of this victory. We must continue to take back American education state-by-state and preserve our next generation of leadership!
