PJTN MOBILIZES SOUTH AFRICAN CHRISTIANS TO COMBAT BDS
As more than 200 rockets fired from the Gaza strip were directed towards Israel over the past 48 hours, PJTN joined all who love Israel and the Jewish people in gratitude for the “Iron Dome” of protection God has placed over His favored nation. Please continue to pray for the IDF soldiers and the citizens for God’s hand of protection upon them as they fight to secure their ancient homeland.
Too, here in South Africa, I can report God’s favor and that we have much to be grateful for! Our meetings have been amazing in the response I’ve seen—people in this far away land that I have never before met reaching out to me to thank me, with great emotion, expressing their gratitude for our Focus On Israel (FOI) program. They shared stories about how FOI has been a beacon of light and hope to them in the midst of the darkness of antisemitism that has for far too long enveloped South Africa.
View here a brief update report I put out yesterday on social media
As I delivered the message of our biblical responsibility to stand with our Jewish brethren and Israel against the rise of global antisemitism that was ignited in Durban and has spread throughout the world, I received a standing ovation for the work PJTN has done through our global Christian media outreach.
I spoke to the pastors and church leaders about how the church is guilty of violating the 9th commandment, Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor, as a result of their silence in not condemning the lie that Israel is an apartheid state.
It was because of the silence of the Church in Durban, South Africa in 2001 that the tiny seeds of antisemitism have spread globally, fueling the rising tide of violence and hatred against our Jewish brethren and Israel. Several Christian leaders prayed prayers of repentance and broke off the curse that has plagued the nation. They stood under the light of truth to also condemn the mis-guided teachings of “replacement theology” that has plagued the church in South Africa and has sown seeds of darkness and hatred toward Israel and the Jewish people.
In one case, a member of the African National Congress (ANC) in the South African Parliament stood and boldly shared her Christian faith with the distinguished leaders openly committing to stand against the antisemitic Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
Each night provided an eye-opening experience to the vileness of the antisemitic BDS Movement that was born here in South Africa as we screened the award-winning documentary, Boycott THIS!
This week in South Africa has been God’s gift to PJTN in the hearts and minds that have been enlightened and changed, moving from misunderstanding and hatred to the light of truth. Many have come to realize the need to disavow the Anglican and Methodist church teachings that have fostered antisemitic hatred in South Africa. I have met influential church leaders who have repeatedly assured me that now, under their watch, the tide in their nation will turn. That they have accepted their mandate from God to fight this ancient foe against Israel.
What I have seen this week in South Africa is the beginning of a miracle.
We have enlightened and taught hundreds who are now equipped and ready to reach their nation—suited up and ready to be on the frontlines in the battle against antisemitism!
PJTN has made a difference in this nation of 60 million people by reaching those who attended our events. They, in turn, will go on to reach their sphere of influence and the truth will set millions free from the darkness of hatred and unleash the blessings awaiting this once prosperous nation.
As I return to the US tomorrow, I am leaving the PJTN flag firmly planted in South African soil as Jews and Christians are united together to combat the rise of antisemitism through the BDS movement under the capable care of PJTN’s South Africa Chapter Director, Cheryl Charles.
We will be back!
I did also get the good news that yet another “match challenge” has been made this week—this one for $2,500 from a PJTN Watchman in Memphis, Tennessee. That makes match challenges of $1,000, $2,000, $2,500 and $3,000! We are truly proving the strength of “Gideon’s Army"—how the courage of a few can conquer many!
Thank you to all our faithful PJTN Watchmen, for making this trip—and all we do—possible.
Additionally, PJTN continues to carry our “hate list” definition from the Southern Poverty Law Center to South Africa and beyond as a true badge of honor! As I have said, I am trusting in the war against antisemitism that God’s word is true—as it was in the days of Joseph when he faced those who had persecuted him. He said to his brothers: “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”
We must continue to work for a world where our Jewish brethren—young and old—in South Africa, in Israel under rocket fire, or anywhere else in the world—no longer lives within the reach of the dark hatred of antisemitism!
Remember: What we at PJTN value as freedom of speech and defensible expressions of truth, the SPLC defines as hate.
Our faith, family and freedoms are at stake—as well as PJTN’s tireless voice in the war on antisemitism! We will not allow our voices to be silenced! We will not lose ground to our enemies in this battle!
Thank you for your support and for that still to come!
Thank you, too, for your prayers as we travel back to the US. I will be in New York at the end of this week and hope to meet with the South African UN Ambassador during my visit. As always—there will be more to come…
