PJTN CALLS ON FLORIDA DOE TO LAUNCH STATEWIDE EFFORT TO ENSURE CURRICULUM COMPLIES WITH NEW ANTI-SEMITISM LAW
EVANGELICAL LEADER CALLS ON FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION TO ALERT DISTRICTS ACROSS THE STATE TO ENSURE CURRICULUM IN K-12 SCHOOLS IS NOT TEACHING ANTI-SEMITISM
LAURIE CARDOZA-MOORE: “NOW THAT THE SUNSHINE STATE HAS PASSED LEGISLATION DEFINING ANTI-SEMITISM, IT’S TIME TO ENSURE IT’S NOT BEING TAUGHT IN THEIR SCHOOLS, AS IS THE CASE ACROSS MOST OF AMERICA”
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE (6/11/2019) In light of the legislation Governor DeSantis signed into law last week in Florida to legally define anti-Semitism, Laurie Cardoza-Moore is calling on the Florida Department of Education to mandate school districts across the state to establish a task force to review all curriculum, textbooks and instructional materials to ensure they are in compliance with the new law. Cardoza-Moore, president of Proclaiming Justice to The Nations (PJTN), is host of the award-winning Christian television program Focus On Israel that reaches a weekly global audience of over 2 billion viewers in 200 nations.
“Now that the Sunshine State has passed legislation defining anti-Semitism, it’s time to ensure it’s not being inadvertently taught in their schools, as is the case across America,” said Cardoza-Moore. She personally thanked Governor DeSantis for his leadership at a meeting in Jerusalem last week where the historic legislation was signed into law.

Cardoza-Moore added: “The bill was framed as a deterrent measure on Florida college campuses against institutions and rogue instructors who openly spew anti-Semitism with impunity. We also must address the fact that students are being indoctrinated with troubling anti-Semitic content throughout their K-12 curriculum that leaves them with warped notions of Jews, Christianity and America.”
Laurie Cardoza-Moore spearheaded a national campaign to rid American textbooks of anti-Semitic, anti-American, anti-Judeo/Christian and pro-Islamic content that violates state and U.S. Constitution’s by favoring the religion of Islam over all others. In 2012, she discovered a British-based Pearson textbook that was being used in Tennessee that justified the bombing of a Jerusalem restaurant as an act of justified political resistance.
Pearson Publishing removed the reference following the PJTN grassroots campaign and Cardoza-Moore’s tireless efforts to raise the issue on her television program and across the mainstream global media. However, with the help of concerned parents across the U.S., the struggle continues to halt wealthy foreign stakeholders like the governments of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Libya from actively propagating American educational content that is anti-Semitic, anti-Judeo/Christian and anti-American.
Proclaiming Justice to The Nations (PJTN), a 501c3 non-profit organization, was established to educate Christians about their Biblical responsibility to stand with their Jewish brethren and Israel against the rise of global anti-Semitism. Utilizing powerful film and video presentations, a variety of grassroots rallies, events and speaking engagements to facilitate dialogue between the Christian and Jewish communities in support of the State of Israel and against global genocidal anti-Semitism. In recent months, the organization has led the struggle against BDS in America with a wave of state resolutions and has exposed textbooks used in U.S. schools that are indoctrinating our children with inaccurate historical information, bias and values that do not reflect our nation’s values. Laurie Cardoza-Moore, President of Proclaiming Justice to The Nations is the show host of the award-winning evangelical television program Focus On Israel that reaches a weekly global audience of over 2 billion viewers in 200 nations through our 21 global media partners.
