LAURIE CARDOZA-MOORE: PJTN FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT ON GLOBAL MISSION TO BRING NEW “FOCUS ON ISRAEL”

(JERUSALEM, ISRAEL) –June 4, 2019—In her global mission to confront anti-Semitism, Laurie Cardoza-Moore will be traveling between the U.S., Israel and South Africa on a fact-finding mission to shed light, new clarity and a hopeful move towards solutions on the global crisis of rising anti-Semitism.

Founder and president of Evangelical Christian pro-Israel advocacy organization Proclaiming Justice to The Nations (PJTN), Cardoza-Moore is known to television audiences around the world as the host of the award-winning Focus On Israel, a weekly docu-style program broadcasting in 200 nations reaching a potential viewing audience of 2 billion viewers worldwide.

Focus On Israel is dedicated to educating viewers on the issues confronting Israel.  From the history of the country and the Jews’ covenant with God, to modern times and Israel’s undeniable rights to their ancient homeland, Cardoza-Moore presents a biblical perspective to the issues Israel faces in the face of mounting world opinion and ever-increasing surrounding tensions in the Middle East. The emphasis of educating Christians, Jews and all people of conscience on the biblical mandate to support our Jewish brethren and Israel, also includes a focus on current headline news.  From the global rise of anti-Semitism, to the boycott divestment and sanctions movement against Israel, to the increased violence worldwide against Jews, it is time for Christians to condemn this hatred worldwide.

“This next several weeks we’ll be here in Israel exploring story topics throughout the country and putting a special focus on interviews with Israeli researchers and major medical facilities achieving the remarkable breakthroughs in cancer research being made here,” noted Cardoza-Moore by phone from Jerusalem.  “It’s no surprise that Israel is seeing a tremendous breakthrough in the area of cancer research.  God told Abraham in Genesis 22:18 … 'And through your offspring all the nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.’  We’re continuing to see this promise fulfilled in our generation.”

This week Cardoza-Moore will also be in Jerusalem to celebrate Jerusalem Day, as well as participating in the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast and Dinner.  She will also take part in the 12th annual presentation of the Moskowitz Prize for Zionism Awards, to be presented June 4th

Later this month, Cardoza-Moore will depart Israel for meetings with Christian leaders and dignitaries in South Africa to discuss strategies to combat the alarming rise of anti-Semitism in their communities.  “South Africa has unfortunately played a crucial role in the birth of BDS and the rise of the ‘new anti-Semitism’ being seen worldwide,” she notes.  “BDS ironically emerged at the 2001 UN-sponsored World Conference on Racism and Racial Intolerance which was held in Durban, South Africa.  What ultimately emerged from this meeting was a document called the ‘Declaration of Principles’ that started the BDS Movement, declaring Israel to be a racist apartheid state and accusing it of committing crimes against humanity, demanding punishment and world censure, as well as the imposing of world sanctions on the diplomatic, economic, social and military fronts between all nations and the Jewish nation.  It’s time this unbiblical disinformation campaign against Israel be confronted.”  Following her meetings this month, Laurie Cardoza Moore is expected to be back in South Africa in September to launch PJTN’s first international chapter in Johannesburg.
