CALIFORNIA'S PASSAGE OF “LIBERATED” REVISIONS OF THE ETHNIC STUDIES MODEL CURRICULUM IS ON THE STATE SENATE FLOOR THIS WEEK!

CALIFORNIA'S PASSAGE OF “LIBERATED” REVISIONS OF THE ETHNIC STUDIES MODEL CURRICULUM IS ON THE STATE SENATE FLOOR FOR VOTE THIS WEEK!

PASSAGE OF THIS PROPAGANDA WILL LEGISLATE ANTISEMITISM AND ANTI-ISRAEL DISINFORMATION IN CALIFORNIA CLASSROOMS.

PJTN GIVES URGENT VOICE OF OPPOSITION TO AB 101

(ORLANDO, FL) –September 5, 2021 –PJTN California Watchmen we are calling you to action!

AB 101, the bill requiring ethnic studies for high school graduation in California must be blocked! The initial push to block AB 101 failed. The bill unfortunately passed last Thursday by a 5-2 vote of the Senate Appropriations Committee.  Prior to its passage, last minute amendments were added including one to strengthen the statewide use of the anti-Semitic Ethnics Study Model Curriculum (ESMC) or the even more virulently anti-Semitic re-written “Liberated” version of ESMC.

We must not allow this  curriculum to be approved for California students!

The fight is a massive one in view of the support of the ESMC materials by the state’s politically powerful, highly well-funded teachers unions in alliance with the liberal higher education community in California.

The voting on AB 101 on the Senate Floor will happen this coming week—the fate of the future education of California’s students will be decided by the close of the current legislative session on Friday, September 10.  If approved, it will go to the Governor.

PJTN California, we must act now!

A note from PJTN Founder and President Laurie Cardoza-Moore: “The passage of AB 101 in California will enable the rejected first draft of the ESMC or even more dangerous a new 'liberated' re-draft of this antisemitic material to be peddled by racist, antisemitic liberal Critical Race Theory activists into every classroom within the state. All curricula must be accurate, unbiased and reflect the values of Californians, as well as the State and U.S. Constitutions. This curriculum is antisemitic and biased. The vile hatred of antisemitism and anti-Israel propaganda poses a threat not only to Jewish students and the Jewish community but also to the next generation of our leadership in America—our children—who are threatened with being indoctrinated with this hatred. We must stand and voice our opposition to AB 101. We must protect Jewish students and California—and ALL students from being indoctrinated with a new generation of anti-Semitism!”

PJTN California—YOUR vote matters!

PJTN is standing with hundreds of California and out-of-state allies, concerned rabbis, more than 75 religious and civil rights organizations and sister organizations in support of the Jewish community in protesting the passage of AB 101. Please let your voice be heard!

ABOUT PJTN:  As the Founder and President of PJTN, Laurie Cardoza-Moore continues to tirelessly devote her efforts to an ever increasingly impactful focus on educating and activating Christians, Jews and all people of conscience on their biblical responsibility to stand with Israel and our Jewish brethren against the rise of global antisemitism.

In 2019, Cardoza-Moore mobilized her organization’s growing army of “PJTN Watchmen” in the launch of a new focus on antisemitism. The “Taking Back America’s Children” campaign, a growing national movement to educate, motivate, and activate Americans on the dire need for educational reform during these challenging times was born. PJTN’s efforts to “wake up” America come at a time when the failure of our nation’s schools is increasingly tragic. The belief that the roots of antisemitism must be fought in the arena of K-12 education.
