VIDEO – NEW BARNA POLL IS REVEALING ON THE IMPORTANCE OF “TRAINING UP OUR CHILDREN”

The newest figures from the Barna Poll offered a cross-section of the latest opinions on Israel from young evangelicals, the segment of Christianity that has long been the backbone of U.S. support for Israel. A drop this year in support among evangelicals ages 18-29 offers some interesting insights. Despite the push for “social justice” on virtually every college campus in America, when asked if Israel should be divided, 72% said “no.” A remarkable fact in the face of radically liberal education, the disinformation wars in K-12 textbooks and the lack of Holocaust Education in our schools. The hatred of Israel has been sown in the lives of young American Christians from these outside influencers. How can our children be taught to follow God’s biblical mandate to “bless Israel” if they have no knowledge of the Jewish people? In these challenging days, love of Israel must come from parents and positive examples — bedtime Bible stories and Sunday school classes can make impressions that last a lifetime.

Laurie today offers some wisdom and encouragement to parents in the truth of God’s word. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

LAURIE SPOTLIGHTS AN UNAIRED SEGMENT OF "FOCUS ON ISRAEL"

THIS WEEK’S GUEST: State of Florida Representative Randy Fine

With the tremendous crush of global antisemitism – up over 400% since the latest round of unrest in the Middle East, Laurie’s podcast today spotlights a guest with a battle closer to home. In Florida, Representative Randy Fine from the state’s 53rd District is the current target of a hate war being waged against him by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a group with proven ties to terrorist groups such as Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. A strong supporter of Israel, Rep. Fine is under attack for Facebook posts of alleged “hate” that denounced terrorists and terror-driven violence. Like Laurie, Rep. Fine, who has been a member of the Florida House of Representatives since 2016, has stood up in the face of persecution and threats from CAIR and other pro-Palestinian activist groups. Listen to the truth behind the controversy in this week’s podcast.

Focus on Israel: Episode #9 - The World Against Israel

The UN was established out of the ashes of the Holocaust and WW2 and voted to establish the state of Israel in 1947. That UN is long gone and unfortunately has now become a bastion of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic sentiment. Issues relating to the state of Israel, the Palestinian people and other aspects of the Arab-Israeli conflict occupy an undue amount of debate time, resolutions and resources at the United Nations
