For Immediate Release: Christian Pro-Israel Organizational Leader Laurie Cardoza-Moore Voices Support of Senator Marsha Blackburn's Call to Remove Ilhan Omar from Congress

(NASHVILLE, TN) –July 9, 2020 – Laurie Cardoza-Moore, founder and President of the pro-Israel Christian advocacy group, Proclaiming Justice to The Nations (PJTN), came out today with strong public support for Tennessee Senator (R) Marsha Blackburn’s call for the resignation from Congress of Ilhan Omar, following her controversial dialogue this week on combatting racial injustice in America.

Noted Cardoza’s media release: “I am in total agreement and solidarity with Senator Blackburn’s strong call for Omar’s immediate resignation. As the Senator noted in her remarks, Ilhan Omar took an oath to defend and protect our Constitution, not shred it... Omar and her Marxist comrades have been a constant and ongoing threat to America’s democracy since her arrival on Capitol Hill. I am calling on concerned Americans today to stand in solidarity with Senator Blackburn and show their outrage over the constant and continually elevating levels of scorn for America that Ilhan Omar has displayed since being elected to Congress.”

Omar, elected to represent Minnesota’s 5th District in 2019, has been a continually outspoken and controversial critic of America, while strongly espousing a leftwing radical view that has openly supported Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood and CARE—all organizations with suspected or proven terrorist ties that have given her campaign support.

“PJTN was one of the first voices in America to demand the removal of Omar from office in 2019,” Cardoza-Moore noted in her letter to supporters. “We began an online resolution demanding her removal from Congress and I am today encouraging Americans to sign that petition to show their support of Senator Blackburn’s courageous public stand.

The resolution is posted today at"

Omar noted Tuesday in a press conference in her home district: “We cannot stop at criminal justice reform, or policing reform for that matter. We are not merely fighting to tear down the systems of oppression in the criminal justice system, we are fighting to tear down systems of oppression that exist in housing, education, healthcare, employment, and in the air we breathe.” She called last month for the total disbanding of the Minneapolis police calling the force, “rotten to the root.” “When we dismantle it, we get rid of the cancer and we allow for something beautiful to rise. In that reimagining we are allowed to figure out what public safety looks like to us," she concluded.

Cardoza-Moore underscored the importance of Senator Blackburn’s remarks: “Omar is a vocal supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement and has aligned herself politically with the so-called ‘squad’ which includes leading members of the Democrats most liberal wing. We are witnessing a movement to wipe out our history, destroy our families, and burn our country to the ground. Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley want to pay the states to allow convicted criminals to roam our streets and let MZX-14 gangs take over our cities,” noted Blackburn.

“As a Christian group in support of Israel, PJTN has a personal agenda in seeing Omar removed,” added Cardoza-Moore. "Americans have systematically and consistently over the past several years, allowed three elected officials to openly and consistently spew their hatred of the Jews without fear of censure—in the name of free speech and in doing so, have allowed antisemitism to be 'normalized' in our culture to a whole new generation of Americans. Fanned by left-wing interests and media, just as in the days of the German Reichstag, lies have been transmitted to Americans from a platform of power and the false narrative has grown to be acceptable in the day-to-day discourse of life. Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have become pop culture heroines on our watch. On our watch—and as our children watched—they have mainstreamed antisemitism and hatred of and violence against the Jews acceptable on the mainstream stage of daily life in our nation. The problem is growing exponentially as new voices join the chorus and the violence against Jews in America is being fanned to an epidemic. The voices of these women have spurned the violence we have recently seen in America’s streets. Where are our voices now?”

Cardoza-Moore concluded: “It’s beyond my comprehension how such hatred can exist from a woman born in Mogadishu and raised in a refugee camp before being blessed with the new world of promise that exists here in America. I suggest the Congresswoman go back to her home country of Somalia and reacquaint herself with the disaster that today exists there. No capitalism, abject poverty, no God-given freedoms from a loosely constructed ‘constitution’ loosely interrupted by the leaders of multiple tribes that have been openly fighting each other for the last 40 years. Her disdain for America is obvious and often displayed, as should our will to remove her be equally displayed and resolutely carried out.”
