I had the wonderful privilege this past Sunday to be a part of the “Sovereignty Now” rally which was a coalition effort of organizations that join PJTN in our interest in Israel’s rights of ownership to the regions of Judea and Samaria, Israel's biblical homeland.
As I joined major recognizable and respected voices in support of Israel such as journalist Caroline Glick and political activist Nadia Matar, I had the very humbling opportunity of presenting a personal message directly to President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. I hope you will view my presentation here:
The struggle of this tiny nation, no bigger than the state of New Jersey, to exist on and possess its rightful homeland is ages—actually millennia—old in origin. The Trump Administration’s “Vision For Peace” has created a whole new host of rumors on what exactly the government of Israel may decide on the disputed areas of Judea and Samaria. This decision may come as early as tomorrow, July 1.
As most of you are aware, immediately after the 1967 Six-Day War, the Israeli cabinet held a debate about what to do with the newly liberated territory of Judea and Samaria. A discussion was held to hold the ancestral Jewish homeland for ideological and security purposes versus the loud call to exchange the land for “peace.” Over the last 53 years, we have come to know of course, that there has been no “peace” while Israel has been in conflict with the Arabs as the world looked on—much of it considering Israel the villain and calling for the land to be given to the Arabs demanding it as rightfully theirs.
What does God say?
The word of the Lord came to Abram almost 4,000 years in Genesis 15:18, In that same day, the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates.
Genesis 17:7-8 goes on to tell us more of God’s promise to Abram, who he renamed Abraham, and who he called “friend," And I will establish my covenant between Me and your offspring after you throughout the generations for an everlasting covenant to be God to you and your offspring after you. I will give to you and your offspring after you the land of your sojourning; all the land of Canaan for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God.
Please join me today for prayers for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. Decisions being made hold the risk of consequences. If sovereignty is extended, it could result in riots and loss of life. Jordan has issued threats of reprisal. European nations and most likely the EU itself will attempt retribution to punish Israel economically and perhaps the Hague will offer threatened legal challenges.
PJTN is standing on the right side in support of Israel and we will not waiver in that support. Israel’s land is an everlasting covenant with God.
