I am a concerned citizen who urges our state government leaders to act now and enact a statutory uniform definition of anti-Semitism.
Calling all TN PJTN Watchmen to action!
I want to strongly encourage you to sign the petition to send a clear message to the Tennessee General Assembly that Tennesseans want to adopt the U.S. State Department's definition of anti-Semitism, the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act (ASAA). There have been a growing number of anti-Semitic incidents occurring on higher-ed and secondary school campuses across the state. The ASAA will provide a clear definition as to what incidents cross the line into anti-Semitism.
During the 2017-2018 legislative session, the House Education Instruction and Programs Sub-Committee killed the bill for the second year in a row. We will re-introduce this legislation in January of 2019 and that is why we are collecting signatures now! Please let your voice be heard by signing the petition today!
Once you sign the petition, won't you share this petition with family and friends and please consider making a generous donation so that we can launch a statewide media campaign to mobilize support across the state? God bless you and thank you for all you do on behalf of our Jewish brethren and all Israel.
