PROCLAIMING JUSTICE TO THE NATIONS (PJTN) FOUNDER LAURIE CARDOZA-MOORE IN NEW YORK FOR BRIEFING WITH UN SECRETARY GENERAL BAN KI-MOON

(New York, New York) -October 26, 2011 – Recently appointed as a Special Envoy to the UN on Middle Eastern Affairs, Laurie Cardoza-Moore, President and Founder of the International organization, Proclaiming Justice to The Nations (PJTN) is in New York this week for  a special briefing with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon.

In her new appointment, announced in September, Ms. Cardoza-Moore serves in the capacity as the World Council of Independent Christian Churches (WCICC) Special Non-Governmental Representative to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.  Her area of specialty is Middle East Affairs, Jewish/Christian relations and Human Rights.

As an integral part of her new role, Ms. Cardoza Moore offers a significant onsite presence for Israel-a presence which began with the September UN sessions.

Cardoza-Moore’s New York meeting this week with the UN Secretary-General follow the 64th Annual UN DPI/NGO Conference held in Bonn, Germany in September. Senior officials from the Department of Economic and Social Affairs and UN Communications Office will be on hand with Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

Noted Cardoza-Moore from the grounds of the UN in New York: “With so many organizations dedicated to humanitarian issues and human rights, it is imperative for all Bible believing Christians to help ensure that the UN respects the Judeo/Christian values as much as those of all of its 194 members.  We live at a time when a ‘new’ anti-Semitism is on the rise around the world and Christians are being massacred by radical Islamic extremists.  Unfortunately, world organizations have forgotten that the UN was created in response to Hitler and Europe’s genocide against the Jewish people with the Holocaust.  When my presence is seen in the UN, I hope it is immediately understood that I represent over 55 million Christians and Jews who believe in the promises God made.”

The moment is ripe for Laurie Cardoza Moore. As an advocate for educating Christians about their own biblical responsibilities, she is an in-demand media voice and speaker throughout the U.S. From the UN to her own organization, Proclaiming Justice To the Nations, she is focused on a single goal: pursuing justice and ensuring that Christians act against the hatred of Christians, Jews and Israel.

In her leadership role with PJTN, Cardoza Moore has guided the organization since its founding in 2005 to its positioning today as a leading national and international organizational media force to stop the aggressive tactics of the “new” anti-semitism against Israel.

A veteran media and lobbying specialist, Cardoza-Moore’s work through PJTN has produced and distributed award winning media films such as Lest We Forget and the Emmy Award nominated, Telly Award winning The Forgotten People, Christianityand the Holocaust -productions that have to date reached audiences in over 214 countries worldwide.

On the national media level PJTN is in the sixth year of presenting the International Christian Prayer and Action Event for Israel at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention-next being held in Nashville in February 2012. The event is the leading annual centerpiece conference for Christian broadcast media.

About PJTN:
PJTN is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  PJTN was established to educate Christians about their Biblical responsibility to stand with their Jewish brethren and Israel, utilizing powerful film and video presentations, a variety of grassroots rallies, events and speaking engagements to facilitate dialogue between the Christian and Jewish communities in support of the State of Israel.
