(Nashville, Tennessee) – February 10, 2016 Laurie Cardoza-Moore, President of Proclaiming Justice to The Nations, Inc. (PJTN), a 501c3 non-profit, pro-Israel organization, today announced the appointment of Mr. Stanley G. Tate to its board of directors, effective immediately.
Mr. Tate has been the principal stockholder and President of Tate Enterprises, a holding company whose entities are involved in real estate development, construction, investments and consulting and receivership activities, since 1987.
Mr. Tate’s career includes serving under former Presidents George H. W. Bush and Bill Clinton as chairman of the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC). RTC was the agency that managed and liquidated banks’ assets in the wake of the Savings and Loan crisis in the ‘90’s. Mr. Tate has built a reputation as a tour de force in the GOP establishment.
As the only living founding member of America Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), Mr. Tate brings a wealth of non-profit, political strategy and grassroots activism to the organization and will play a key role in executing PJTN’s mission globally. PJTN President Laurie Cardoza-Moore said regarding Mr. Tate’s appointment, “This is a tremendous coup for PJTN. Mr. Tate’s renowned leadership and wisdom will be an outstanding asset to our global efforts at PJTN. I am excited to have the opportunity to serve under his guidance.”
Stanley G. Tate was instrumental in the early development of the Florida Prepaid College Program. It was his vision to provide Florida families with an affordable means to save for their children’s future college education. Mr. Tate served tirelessly as Board Chairman from 1987 to 2005. In recognition of Mr. Tate’s service, Governor Jeb Bush signed House Bill 263 into law on June 26, 2006, renaming the program the Stanley G. Tate Florida Prepaid College Program. Mr. Tate’s steadfast commitment to his vision remains to this day.
“To be selected to sit on PJTN’s board is quite an honor,” said Mr. Tate. “I accepted this appointment because not only do I believe in what PJTN is doing, but I have been thoroughly impressed with the outstanding leadership Ms. Cardoza-Moore has exemplified in building an organization and team of committed individuals who are willing to engage the culture on Israel’s behalf. The global impact PJTN has been able to achieve in 10 years is second to none. The mission to engage Christians, Jews and people of conscience by producing award-winning documentaries and programs to confront the global disinformation media campaign against Israel and then distributing those programs and films in over 200 nations, reaching over 900 million viewers is brilliant! PJTN was also invited to leverage their assets at the United Nations by confronting anti-Semitism and reminding Christian ambassadors, delegates and staffers of their biblical responsibility to stand with Israel and their Jewish brethren too. This is an organization that doesn’t wait to get involved, they are not afraid to actively engage and expose anti-Semites in communities, churches, textbooks, or on college campuses, they confront it head-on!”
Mr. Tate serves as an Officer, Director and Trustee on several boards including the AIPAC National Committee, the National Council of AIPAC, and the Jewish National Fund.
PJTN was established May 19, 2005. The mission of PJTN is to educate Christians about their biblical responsibility to stand with their Jewish brethren and Israel against the rise of global genocidal anti-Semitism.
