PRO-PALESTINIAN GROUPS REJECT A TWO-STATE SOLUTION (Radicals Can Be Defeated)
Posted on 05/17/2012 | Category: New Anti-Semitism
by Alan M. Dershowitz | Several years ago I spoke at the University of California at Irvine, the very same campus where radical Islamic students tried to prevent Israel’s ambassador, Professor Michael Oren, from speaking. I first asked for students to raise their hands if they generally support Israel. All the students to my left raised their hands. I then asked how many students supported the Palestinian side. All the students to my right raised their hands. I then asked the pro-Israel group: “How many of you would support a Palestinian state living in peace and without terrorism next to Israel?” Every single pro-Israel hand immediately went up. I then asked how many on the pro-Palestine side would accept a Jewish state within the 1967 borders, with no settlements on territory claimed by the Palestinians. Not a single hand was raised. The debate was essentially over, as everyone recognized that this was not a conflict between pro-Israel and pro-Palestine groups, but rather a conflict between those who would accept a two-state solution and those who would reject any Jewish state anywhere in the Middle East. 0 CommentsU.K. CHILD SEX RING REVEALS HORRIFIC CONSEQUENCES OF ‘ISLAMOPHOBIA’ WITCH-HUNT
Posted on 05/13/2012 | Category: Chrislam
by Melanie Phillips So now we can see the outcome of the witch-hunt against ‘Islamophobia’. With the conviction of nine men for organised sexual crimes from rape to sex trafficking, the full horrific details of more than two decades of sexual violence against young, predominantly white girls living in children’s homes in the north of England have been revealed. The gang lured an officially estimated 47 girls (the figure may well be higher) aged 12 to 16 with gifts, alcohol and drugs before passing them around to have sex ‘with several men a day, several times a week’ in flats, houses, cars, taxis and kebab shops. After phone calls inviting them to come and have sex with a girl, men would turn up to do so by the taxi-load. One 13 year-old was forced to have sex with 20 men in one night. Terrible as all this is in itself, there is far worse. For this monstrous abuse could all have been stopped years ago. The authorities had evidence this was going on as long ago as 1991. The question immediately arises: how on earth could a blind eye have been turned to all this by the social services departments under whose care these girls were living, as well as by the police to whom... 0 CommentsSimulation: Israeli strike on Iran would work
Posted on 05/06/2012 | Category: Iran
By Ryan Jones An Israeli newspaper recently hosted a war simulation that showed an Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities causing severe damage and the Jewish state not suffering any major consequences for that action. The Makor Rishon newspaper brought together former government officials and army generals, university professors who are experts on regional players, and journalists who know the current conflicts inside and out to participate in the exercise. According to the premise of the game, Israel’s intelligence community suddenly learns that Iran is moving sensitive and critical nuclear equipment to protected underground sites. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu quietly authorizes and immediate aerial strike, during which 10 Israeli jets are shot down over enemy territory. The strike succeeds in setting Iran’s nuclear program back at least seven years. The simulation put the date of the attack on either October 14 or 15. That was somewhat prescient considering that Netanyahu is now expected to announce early elections for the beginning of September, and many believe one of the reasons is so that he can deal with Iran unencumbered in mid-October. Following the initial strike, the simulation shows US President Barack Obama issue an angry reply and blast Israel for “intervention” in the American presidential election. Obama is frustrated that the Israeli strike will bring up... READ MORE
0 CommentsSinai: The New Egyptian Plague
Posted on 05/06/2012 | Category: Latest News
By Aviel Schneider Since the Egyptian Revolution more than a year ago, there has been a complete breakdown of law and order in the Sinai Peninsula, and Islamic terrorists from Egypt and Gaza have filled the vacuum. The natural gas pipeline from Egypt to Israel has been blown up 14 times. On the eve of Passover, several rockets were fired across the border from Sinai into Israel’s Red Sea resort of Eilat, as the city prepared to host thousands of visitors for the holiday. The Israeli military says a number of terror groups are active in Sinai, including Hamas, Islamic Jihad and al-Qaeda, and they are planning cross-border attacks. This poses a dilemma for Israel because it cannot freely operate in Sinai, as it would in neighboring Gaza, for fear of further harming the already fragile peace treaty with Egypt. The Egyptian government has lost control of Sinai, and Bedouin tribes now call the shots in the desert where the children of Israel wandered for 40 years in biblical times. The Bedouin economy thrives on smuggling to Hamas-ruled Gaza. “By the end of 2011, the annual volume of this black economy was estimated to exceed U.S. $300 million,” wrote respected Israeli analyst Ehud Yaari in a report called Sinai: A New Front, published by the... Posted on 05/06/2012 | Category: Latest News
by Bob Unruh Network host makes ‘common error’ about ‘natural born citizenship’ Attorney Herb Titus, who has taught constitutional law for nearly 30 years and was the founding dean of the College of Law and Government at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Va., is offering a correction to Fox News anchor Bret Baier’s explanation of “natural born citizen.” The issue arose this week when Baier posted online his explanation of “natural born citizen” and said that the issue is resolved by federal law. He pointed to 8 U.S. Code, Section 1401, contending all that is required is for the mother to be an American citizen who has lived in the U.S. for five years or more, at least two of these years after the age of 14. 0 CommentsThe Fastest Growing Religion In America Is Islam
Posted on 05/06/2012 | Category: Latest News
Do you know what the fastest growing religion in America is? It isn’t Christianity. According to the latest U.S. Religion Census that was just released on May 1, 2012, the fastest growing religion in America is Islam. The data for the census was compiled by the Association of Statisticians of American Religious Bodies, and the results were released by the Association of Religion Data Archives. From the year 2000 to the year 2010, the census found that the number of Muslims living inside the United States increased by about 1 million to 2.6 million – a stunning increase of 66.7 percent. That is an astounding rate of growth. Meanwhile, most Christian denominations had rates of growth that were far below the overall rate of population growth in the United States, and some Christian denominations actually lost members. Sadly, when Barack Obama once said that “we are no longer a Christian nation” he wasn’t too far off the mark. Christianity is rapidly losing influence and other religions such as Islam are rapidly gaining members and building new places of worship. As other major religions such as Islam continue to grow in the United States, it is inevitable that this will reshape America in many different ways in the years ahead. So what about other religious groups?... READ MORE
0 CommentsNetanyahu’s choices: Strike Iran before or after Israeli elections
Posted on 05/06/2012 | Category: Iran
Will Netanyahu face an election before Obama? Binyamin Netanyahu and Ehud Barak are facing another of the periodic opposition campaigns to unseat them – this time by pressure for an early election a year before its October, 2013 date. New faces have joined the opposition lineup. They are focused on challenging the current government’s credentials for leading an Israeli attack to preempt a nuclear Iran. These two goals are interchangeable. However, before the campaign peaks, debkafile’s analysts report it has begun to backfire. The newcomer to the anti-government ranks is the party registered Sunday, April 29, by ex-broadcaster Yair Lapid as “Yesh Atid” (There is a Future). His potential partners are former Shin Bet director Yuval Diskin, former Mossad chief Meir Dagan, former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and former chief of staff Gaby Ashkenazi. They are all casting about for a political base, together or apart, from which to tip over the current government. Incumbent President Shimon Peres cheers them on from the wings. Diskin’s assault on Netanyahu and Barak as not to be trusted to lead a war and guided by “messianic” feelings was launched Friday, April 27, directly after Independence Day celebrations, at the same time as two leading opposition parties, Labor and Kadima, set the stage for an early election to stem the right-of-center... Posted on 05/06/2012 | Category: New Anti-Semitism
By Ludwig Lewisohn ONE of the most excellent of my Christian friends (the greater number of my older friends are such) could finally hold in no longer. ‘Your people are in trouble!’ There was a tinge of over-eagerness in his tone; there was the faint shadow of something akin to the triumph of one who can say, ‘I told you so.’ He had, in fact, never told me anything. But an unspoken implication had hung in the air between us (as it has between other Christian friends and me) for years. The implication could be phrased somewhat as follows: ‘You had become quite one of ourselves; we never thought of you as different. Did you have, as it were, to leave us and identify yourself so wholly with this people which, whatever its virtues and whatever be the merits of the case, does always create friction and commotion? Where there is so much smoke, there must be some fire. Did you have both to fan that flame and to leap into it?’ I did not answer my friend’s unspoken but emphatic implication. For he is the type of American liberal, with slight theoretical radical leanings, who feigns to himself sincerely enough that the historic sources of life have run dry; that we are abstract and... 0 CommentsHow Egypt’s Presidential Election Will Change the Middle East and the World
Posted on 05/06/2012 | Category: Muslim Brotherhood
By Barry Rubin What might well be the most significant election in Middle East history is about to happen yet the situation and its implications are simply not understood abroad. On May 23-24, with a probable run-off on Jun 16-17, the most important country in the Arabic-speaking world is almost certainly going to choose a revolutionary transformation that will ensure continuous earthquakes of war, suffering, and instability for decades to come. Of the dozen candidates only three are important and the question is which of them will end up in the run-off. –Muhammad Mursi, head of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party. –Abdel Moneim Aboul Fatouh, a former Muslim Brotherhood leader who resigned to run for president. –Amr Musa, a radical nationalist who combines being an anti-American, anti-Israel demagogue with some real experience in government and some sense of realism and restraint. He has proclaimed the Egypt-Israel peace treaty to be dead. If you don’t have a peace treaty that means you are in a state of [three letter word being with “w” and ending with “r.” There are also, among the more serious of the also-rans, a leftist, an old regime supporter, three liberals, and another Islamist. 0 CommentsIslamic ‘Death-Sex’ in Context
Posted on 05/03/2012 | Category: Radical Islam
Posted by Raymond Ibrahim Bio Aside from provoking shock, disgust, and denial, last week’s news of Egyptian parliamentarians trying to pass a “farewell intercourse” law legalizing sex with one’s wife up to six hours after she dies has yet to be fully appreciated. To start, consider the ultimate source of this practice: it’s neither the Muslim Brotherhood nor the Salafis; rather, as with most of Islam’s perversities—from adult breastfeeding to pedophilia marriage—Islamic necrophilia is traced to the fount of Islam, its prophet Muhammad, as found in a hadith (or tradition) that exists in no less than six of Islam’s classical reference texts, including Kanz al-‘Umal by Mutaqi al-Hindi and Al-Hujja fi Biyan al-Mahujja, an authoritative text on Sunni Doctrine, by Abu Qassim al-Asbahani. According to this hadith, Muhammad took off his shirt and placed it on a dead woman and “lay” with her in the grave. The buriers proceeded to bury the corpse and the prophet with dirt, exclaiming, “O Prophet, we see you do a thing you never did with anyone else,” to which Muhammad responded: “I have dressed her in my shirt so that she may be dressed in heavenly robes, and I have laid with her in her grave so that the pressures of the grave [also known as Islam’s “torments of the...
